Senior Residential Homes and Assisted Living Communities

Senior Residential Homes and Assisted Living CommunitiesIn addition to home healthcare, Associated Home Care is actively involved in the management of several senior residential homes and assisted living communities. The same advanced selection criteria that we use in the recruitment and training of our in-home caregivers is used in our residential homes and assisted living communities.

These senior residential homes and assisted living communities include:

  • H.E.A.R.T. Homes
  • Assisted Living Communities
  • Senior Supportive Housing Communities

H.E.A.R.T. Homes

H.E.A.R.T. Homes is an exciting new concept where four to six seniors, who need assistance with routine care, live in a non-institutional home together. Associated Home Care developed this concept in response to the need for older adults to live in their own home safely and securely with as much independence as possible. Individualized around-the-clock care is offered in an affordable family-style living environment. Residents sign a lease for a bedroom and the shared use of common areas including a full kitchen, dining room, family room and an outdoor area. The cost of residency is split between occupancy and service fees. The occupancy fee includes rent, groceries, utilities, heat, electricity, water, landscaping, snow removal and home maintenance. The basic service fee includes 24-hour staffing and services based on each individual resident’s care plan. To learn more, please go to our website

Assisted Living

One of the unique services offered by Associated Home Care is top quality assisted living management services. We hire, train, and supervise staff and are part of the management team for both assisted living and memory care communities in Massachusetts. We currently have twenty staff people at Harborlight House in Beverly and over ninety Associated Home Care staff people at Monarch Homes Assisted Living of Woburn and Weymouth locations. Because of our lengthy history in offering high quality care to seniors, we understand how to provide professional and compassionate care in a residential setting to both seniors who need some assistance and memory-impaired seniors. Our knowledgeable and carefully trained staff works closely with these residential communities and understands the needs of each individual resident.

Senior Supportive Housing

Associated Home Care has been working very closely for three years with several senior supportive housing communities in Salem, Peabody and Beverly. Most recently, we have added supportive housing buildings in Leominster and Dorchester, MA.  These apartment communities provide affordable housing for hundreds of seniors living in Massachusetts. Associated Home Care supports these communities by providing specially trained personal care homemakers on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist with non-medical emergencies. Additionally, the caregivers are available to provide regularly scheduled routine care services for residents. This 24-hour coverage gives residents peace of mind knowing they are secure in their living situations, because there is always someone there at a moments notice to get help in case of an emergency.
